Description:
Scot's church, fronting Jamison Street, is in the foreground with its vestry facing onto Margaret Lane. Beyond the vacant block behind the church is Margaret Street and the north-east corner of Wynyard Square is visible where Margaret Street and Carrington Street meet. The dog-leg street running east through the centre of the picture is Hunter Street.
