Description:
Blues Point Road, with horse and cart, and McMahons Point are in the foreground, looking across Port Jackson to Millers Point and the entrances to Darling Harbour and Johnstone's Bay. Pyrmont is in the middle distance and East Balmain is to the right.Spencer Lodge, a twelve-room brick and shingle colonial townhouse with a verandah looking westwards across Darling Harbour towards Balmain and another verandah looking across the Harbour to the north shore, is partly visible on the western side of Miller's Point. It was built in 1835.
