Description:
This group of women fundraisers with their collecting boxes, Red Cross badges and Union Jacks, are standing outside the Bon Marche store on the corner of George and Harris Streets, Broadway, Sydney. Miss Doris Bridgwater and her sister Olive are standing on the left in the photograph.
The photographer has been identified from another copy of the same image in a private collection.
