Description:
The Reverend Donald McKay Barnet wearing formal dress as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in New South Wales, a position he held from 1927-1928. The Moderator's dress, like court costume, consisted of knee breeches, silk stockings, shoes with silver buckles, a cutaway coat, lace-frilled cuffs and collar, and a three-cornered hat, with a pulpit gown covering the fine attire.
