Looking across Castlereagh Street towards St. Andrew's Cathedral. The corner of Castlereagh and Market Streets can be clearly seen in the foreground, as can the line of Market Street down to George Street, with the roof of Victoria Markets visible. The Town Hall is under construction.The building on the southern corner of Market Street is the Traveller's Rest Hotel.
